ROAD SAFARIS FROM MALINDI / WATAMU

1 DAY TOUR SHIMBA HILLS NATIONAL RESERVE

In the morning you will leave Malindi crossing with the Likoni ferry from which you can see the most active part of East Africa called Kilindini Harbour. You will drive south on the Mombasa/Tanga road to the cool and fresh vegetation and forest of Shimba Hills Reserve, a home of rare sable antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and monkeys. During this game drive you can also see various colourful birds. After having lunch in one of the hotels in the reserve we will return to Malindi and bring you to your hotel.

1 DAY TOUR TAITA HILLS GAME SANCTUARY

We will be leaving Malindi early in the morning heading for the Taita Hills Game Sanctuary on the Voi road. Before starting the actual game drive we will take a short break at the hotel where we will be returning to for lunch later. In the afternoon you have the choice of either watching traditional African dances or spending some time at the hotel’s swimming pool. We will depart in time for you to have dinner at your hotel in Malindi.

2-DAY TOUR TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: MALINDI – TSAVO EAST

We will depart from Malindi/Watamu in the morning and arrive in Tsavo East for a game drive before lunch. Another game drive will take place in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.

Day 2: TSAVO EAST - MALINDI.

After breakfast we will leave the lodge/camp and continue for a game drive in the park where we will check in for lunch. After lunch we will return to Malindi arriving late in the day.

3-DAY TOUR TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: MALINDI - TSAVO EAST

We will leave Malindi in the morning and drive to Tsavo East, where we will proceed for a game drive in Kenya’s largest park. After checking in for lunch at a lodge/camp we will go for another game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.

Day 2: TSAVO EAST- TSAVO- WEST.

After breakfast we will continue with a game drive on the way to Tsavo West and check in for lunch at a lodge /camp. In the afternoon we will take a game drive in Tsavo West. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.

Day 3: TSAVO WEST-MALINDI.

After breakfast we will depart from Tsavo West and drive to the Mzima Springs – a natural spring with an under water observatory tank to see aquatic life. Later on we will drive through the park and stop at Voi for lunch. After lunch we will make our way back to Malindi arriving late in the day.

3-DAY TOUR TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK AMBOSLI NATIONAL RESERVE TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: MALINDI – TSAVO EAST – TSAVO WEST

Leaving Malindi early in the morning we will enter Tsavo East crossing the river Voi by the Aruba Dam where we will go to the Lugard’s - Falls in the Tsavo River. In this area you can find the famous lions of Tsavo, known as the Man-eaters. You will have a far view of the 90km long Yatta Plateau, the world’s largest lava flow. We will then make our way to Voi Safari Lodge where we will eat lunch. After a visit to Helena, a tame elephant, we will drive to Ngulia Safari Lodge in Tsavo West for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: TSAVO WEST - AMBOSELI

After breakfast we will make a game drive heading for the Mzima Springs.

We will be on our way to Amboseli arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon we will make a long game drive through Amboseli and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: AMBOSELI - TSAVO WEST - MALINDI

Starting early in the morning we will go on a game drive. After breakfast you will drive to Tsavo West through Masailand where we will make a small stop at the Shetani Lava Flow. We will return to Malindi where arriving in the evening.

3-DAY TOUR TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK AMBOSELI NATIONAL RESERVE TAITA HILLS GAME SANCTUARY

Day 1: MALINDI – TSAVO WEST - AMBOSELI

Departing from Malindi early in the morning to reach Kilaguni Serena/Ngulia Lodge in Tsavo West in time for breakfast. From there we will drive through to Masailand to Amboseli where we will arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon we will make a game drive and then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: AMBOSELI – TSAVO WEST – TAITA HILLS

Early morning game drive. After breakfast we will leave for Tsavo West through Masailand where we will make a small stop at the Shetani Lava Flow. From there we will enter Tsavo West and go straight to Kilaguni Lodge/Ngulia Lodge for lunch. After lunch we will make a game drive to Mzima Springs where you can see crocodiles and hippos. Then we will continue driving to Taita Hills arriving late in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: TAITA HILLS - MALINDI

We will do a game drive before and after breakfast. Afterwards we will start our way back to Malindi arriving in the evening.

4-DAY TOUR TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK AMBOSELI NATIONAL RESERVE

Day 1: MALINDI- TSAVO EAST

After leaving Malindi in the morning and driving to Tsavo East we will proceed for a first game drive enroute to a lodge/camp where we will have lunch. In the afternoon we will take another game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.

Day 2: TSAVO EAST – TSAVO WEST

We will leave Tsavo East heading for Tsavo West in the morning and check in for lunch upon arrival. In the afternoon we will visit the Rhino sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.

Day 3: TSAVO WEST – AMBOSELI

After leaving Tsavo West in the morning and driving to Amboseli we will have lunch at a lodge/camp. In the afternoon we will take a game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.

Day 4: AMBOSELI –MALINDI.

We will leave Amboseli after breakfast and drive to Voi for lunch. After lunch we will depart for Malindi arriving late in the day.

4-DAY TOUR TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK AMBOSELI NATIONAL RESERVE TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK TAITA HILLS GAME SANCTUARY

Day 1: MALINDI – TSAVO EAST – TSAVO WEST

Early in the morning we will start from Malindi driving to Tsavo East, the country of elephants. We will make a game drive passing the Aruba- Dam and the Lugard’s – Falls in the Tsavo River and you might see the famous lions of Tsavo, known as the Man-Eaters.

You will have a view of the 90 km long Yatta Plateau on your way to Voi Safari Lodge/Ndololo Camp where we will have lunch.

After a visit to Helena the tamed elephant, we will drive to Ngulia/Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge in Tsavo West reaching in time for dinner and overnight .

Day 2: TSAVO WEST - AMBOSELI

After break fast we will drive through Masailand to Amboseli arriving in time for lunch . Later in the afternoon we will make a game drive and then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: AMBOSELI – TSAVO – TAITA HILLS

Early morning game drive. After breakfast will make our way to Tsavo West through Masailand where we will make a stop at the Shetani Lava Flow. From there we will enter Tsavo West and go to Kilaguni Serena Lodge for lunch.

After lunch we will make a game drive to Mzima Springs where you can see crocodiles and hippos.

Then we will drive beside Tsavo River for a while until leaving Tsavo for the route to Taita Hills arriving in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: TAITA HILLS - MALINDI

Game drive before and after breakfast . After lunch in the hotel you will have the opportunity to watch traditional African dances or relax at the swimming pool. Then we will return to Malindi where we will arrive in the evening.

5 DAY TOUR SHIMBA HILLS NATIONAL RESERVE TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK AMBOSELI NATIONAL RESERVE TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: MALINDI - SHIMBAHILLS

We will leave Malindi after breakfast and drive to Shimba Hills arriving in time for lunch at a Tree Hotel (lodge). Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at Tree Hotel.

Day 2: SHIMBA HILL - TSAVO WEST

After leaving Shimba in the morning and driving to Tsavo West, we will check in through Mtito Andei gate. We will visit Mzima Springs before going for lunch in a lodge/camp. Afternoon visit to the Rhino sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at a lodge /camp.

Day 3: TSAVO WEST – AMBOSELI

We will depart from Tsavo West in the morning and drive to Amboseli arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.

Day 4: AMBOSELI - TSAVO EAST

We will drive to Tsavo East leaving Amboseli in the morning in order to arrive in time for lunch at a lodge/camp. Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: TSAVO EAST – MALINDI

We will leave Tsavo East in the morning and continue for a game drive till mid-day. Then we will have lunch and return to Malindi arriving late in the day

7-DAY TOUR TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK AMBOSELI NATIONAL RESERVE MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: MALINDI - TSAVO WEST

After leaving Malindi early in the morning we will drive directly to Tsavo West taking a game drive enroute. After checking in for lunch at a lodge/camp we will make a visit to the Rhino sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.

Day 2: TSAVO WEST – AMBOSELI

We will leave Tsavo West in the morning and drive to Mzima Springs on the way to Amboseli arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon we will take a game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.

Day 3: AMBOSELI - MASAI-MARA

After an early breakfast, we will make our way through Nairobi and stop at Narok for lunch. Afterwards we will drive to Masai Mara for a game drive enroute to a lodge/camp for dinner and over night.

Day 4: MASAI-MARA

We will spend the whole day exploring this world’s animal paradise including a visit to the Mara River and (optional) Masai villages with a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.

Day 5: MASAI-MARA – LAKE NAKURU

We will be leaving Masai-Mara in the morning and make our way to Lake Nakuru for lunch in a lodge/camp. Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: LAKE NAKURU – TSAVO EAST

After an early breakfast we will leave Nakuru and drive through Nairobi arriving in Tsavo East for late lunch. Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.

Day 7: TSAVO EAST – MALINDI

After breakfast we will leave Tsavo East and proceed for a game drive at the Galana River (lunch at a camp). We will return to Malindi arriving late in the afternoon.

11-DAY SAFARI PROGRAMME KENYA AND TANZANIA

Day 1

Upon your arrival at JKL airport in the morning Rama, the tour guide will meet you and transfer you to a restaurant or a hotel for breakfast.

We will leave for Masai Mara National Park arriving in time for lunch at a lodge or a camp.

In the afternoon we will take a short game drive between 4:30pm and 6:00pm and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

We will be starting early for a game frive before and after breakfast. You will get the chance to visit the famous Mara River where you can see the animal migration. See the crocodiles, hippos and other wild beasts.

We will have picnic lunch in the Park at the back of the river.

After the afternoon game drive we will leave for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

After breakfast we will leave for Amboseli via Nairobi (lunch on the way).

When we arrive at Amboseli National Reserve we will go on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 4

We will take a short game time before breakfast and a full game drive afterwards. On our way to Namanga preprare to cross the border from Kenya to Tanzania. We will arrive at Arusha in the evening, in time for dinner and overnight in the town hotel.

Day 5

After breakfast we will head to Lake Manyara for our morning game drive with a lunch break at Mto wa Mbu. Afterwards we will make our way to the Ngorongoro Crator for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Visit to the famous Ngorongoro Crator for a full day game drive within the creator.

Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 7

We will leave for Serengeti after breakfast, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight (lunch on the way).

Day 8

We will go on a full day game drive within the Serengeti National Park (dinner and overnight in a lodge).

Day 9

After breakfast we will depart for Arusha taking a lunch break en-route. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.

Day 10

We will leave for Namanga back to the Kenyan border and visit the Tsavo East National Park arriving in time for a late lunch at the lodge in Tsavo East. Relax during the whole afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 11

Have a full day drive through Tsavo East leaving for Watamu or Malindi in the afternoon at a time that suits you.
